It's a shame that haven't been more rigorous in holding woeful CQC to account, especially its policy of not investigating individual whistleblowers' concerns. CQC will only conduct superficial thematic review, if that. Sometimes nothing at all

The sooner inspections are centred on evidence based wellbeing outcomes, rather than the amassing of fundamentally meaningless paperwork, the sooner real care and support will be delivered, and the harder it will get to hide abuse. Good staff will also feel empowered not weak.
