The culture of demeaning autistics starts in schools, supported by unlawful LAs and untrained staff. The rot is right the way through. Yes, we complained to LGOs, Ofsted, CQC, and yet the most accountability you get is an apologetic soundbite whilst things quietly carry on.

The sooner inspections are centred on evidence based wellbeing outcomes, rather than the amassing of fundamentally meaningless paperwork, the sooner real care and support will be delivered, and the harder it will get to hide abuse. Good staff will also feel empowered not weak.
