Harriet Harman
I haven’t heard the evidence or read the judgement in this case - but Geoffrey Cox, Attorney General can you please consider wether this is an Unduly Lenient Sentence. I’ll write with a formal request.
John Broadhurst, a property developer, is said to have "totally lost it" during "drug-fuelled" intercourse.

Don’t you think you ought to hear and read those things before deciding it needs a review?

(It may well need a review, but that shouldn’t be a starting assumption. Look at the facts first then decide if it’s warranted)

Just look at the blokes in this timeline more outraged by the woman asking for a review than the <4 year sentence for John Broadhurst who killed a woman by inflicting more than 40 injuries & inserting corrosive carpet cleaner insude her.

Maybe read the judgement before making an, err, judgement.

Maybe you could condemn the man for what HE did.

Seriously people, this man inflicted 40 injuries on this poor woman and left her to die at the bottom of his stairs! There is nothing consensual about that. How much more do you need to read to think that 3 yrs is too lenient...!

Please please pursue this and don't let it drop. There is no way, when there are only two people present, that the one who survives can say the other one wanted the injuries. This is ultimate victim blaming and this case must be reviewed. These things don't just happen!

I feel like reading the judgment is the absolute bare minimum of work you should put in before deciding to interfere in the courts.
