7 woke us up in the night needing a cuddle. This, combined with the dregs of the last cold, mean that today the house is spinning around me again and the floor keeps moving under my feet like I'm on a ship. Going to be an interesting day.

Before I got my hrm I used to think things were low impact because I did them every day but they pushed me over my max without me knowing and I'd crash a lot more. I'm pretty careful now and though I wouldn't say I can do a lot more yet, I can do less more reliably :)

I just use a fitbit. It doesn't beep when I get to my max, which would have been useful, but I can wear it all day pretty easily. There are whole Facebook groups devoted to monitoring though, I just do mine in a pretty basic way.

It really does. I've found it's also a really good way of being able to show people how hard my body has to work to do things they barely notice. It's nice to have a way of actually measuring how messed up my body is now!

That's a good idea. Using my heart rate monitor was such an eye opener for me. I'd never realised how much just doing things like emptying the dishwasher pushed me. I definitely crash less these days but sometimes I'd love to be able to just power through still.

It feels odd to like a post about being ill but it must feel so validating to finally have your health issues accepted! Is there anything they can do to help you now?

Today pacing using my heart rate monitor has reminded me to stop half way through chores I used to be able to manage and to sit until my pulse has dropped. It's frustrating not to be able to just do things, but I'm glad of the reminder to slow down. It helps me crash far less.

I think I have loved pretty much every other pairing I've ever seen on Neighbours but I just don't get this one 😁

This scares me. I've used the private health insurance my husband gets through work. I had to spend hours arguing that things should be covered, chase up invoices I shouldn't have been sent. Then they changed providers and my chronic condition isn't covered at all.

You know that means you're technically allowed to eat all of it now to reduce food waste don't you? 😁

I'm pleased with what I've read so far. I've balanced the emotions and pace better than I remembered, but I have also used 2 names interchangeably for 3 characters. I miss being sharp.

Reading through the first few pages of a story I started a few weeks ago. So far I have it set in two seasons, the main character is teaching two different age groups... This might need a little editing as I go. I knew I wasn't as sharp as normal but... 😆

Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I don't but luckily twitter did and sent me a template tweet :) Pleased it did though. Twitter has brought me two amazing communities, fellow writers and pwME, and others who fit in both camps too!
