Did my route scouting today for my first ride (a 1-day 50-miler) which is just two weeks away - and boy was it pretty... and pretty damn hilly too!

Two years ago I lost the love of my life to cancer. I thank God every day for blessing me with a fabulous wife and mother to our four kids. I know she is watching out for us from above and guiding us to find as much happiness as we can in our lives. Love you and miss you May. xo

The constant voice, tell me a story tell me what makes them special. So I did, for 17 years. He made sure the listeners felt the joy, & heartache that these families live. He got on that bike each year & rode for the kids. Thank you my friend❤️As Nixon would say, ROCK ON GERRY🤟🏻

Sometimes the sun hits something and it catches your eye and you escape the daily grind and take a moment to inhale nature’s beauty... even in an urban setting on busy, noisy Brookline Avenue .

With rain expected on and off all day and the skies darkening, I started the morning with my sauna-suit-disguised-as-a--raincoat... for three minutes until I realized I’d rather get wet by the rain than by sweating!
