The days of "taxing the rich" are likely long gone. Even if such laws are passed, who's gonna collect? Anything short of deploying heavily-armed *people's recuperation squads* won't cut it. And even then, the rich have international networks of wealth havens that are untouchable.

If that were absolutely true, Canada wouldn't have done it, and the extreme tax avoiders wouldn't ditch their American citizenship to avoid taxation.

Even if we do tax the rich, I have no faith in the bureaucracy to function as the economy crumbles. People need to realize this crumbling civilization is done. The only way it ever existed is through wealth hoarding. We are headed for civil war. Sooner the better
