Incredible storytelling. John Lewis is a department store in UK, btw. Had to look it up haha.

Really like my UE Boom 2. The 3 improves on just about everything, including the fact that it floats and has better water resistance.

So, it wasn’t a high-sided or heavy vehicle - a trailer that’s probably too light! Haha.

Lots of warning from the lit signs leading to the bridges: no high-sided or heavy vehicles. Way to go, bud.

Christmas present idea: in my opinion the best acoustic guitar for not a lot of money - $249 Yamaha FG800M.

Just discovered the Glossary tool in Brightspace. After attending a PD session on international, immigrant and EAL students, I realized I have a lot of jargon in my courses. I was going to start a vocabulary as a file. The Glossary tool is exactly what I need!

Only option on the tag was to go to Burnside depot for it. Didn’t know it was being delivered so we couldn’t leave a note or anything.

I like CanadaPost because items are left in community mailboxes, or at worst the post office nearby. UPS/FedEx/Purolator are all a crap shot as to whether or not they’ll leave the package, even iff you have a sticker, etc. Then you might have to go to Burnside to get it!

That should definitely have been the default behaviour (who wants to stretch images?), but unlearning almost two decades of keyboard shortcuts will take some time.

And when transforming, the default was to just stretch the item. You had to hold Shift to keep proportion and Option+Shift to keep proportion and transform around the anchor point. Now it defaults to proportional transform and holding Shift makes it non-proportional! Eek.

Context: Cmd+Z used to be basically a single undo/redo. For some reason. It would toggle the last thing you did. Option+Cmd+Z was Step Backward, which allowed you to undo multiple times until the history limit was hit. Now it works like most other apps and it’s flipped.

Adobe recently updated Photoshop and now I keep messing things up because they changed the default behaviours/shortcuts of Undo/Step Backwards and transforming. This also means I have to update all my tutorials. These should have always been the defaults though, so it’s fine…

I got 64GB with my 10.5” and returned it within a day and got the 256GB. 128GB would be ideal.
