New Rochelle is not in our coverage area, but the "reassignment" of longtime coach Lou DiRienzo is obviously a compelling story in the Section 1 football community. Press conference going on right now. Check out for Josh's updates.

I wouldn't say irrelevant but I'm probably way older than you & I remember plenty of "next big thing" QBs who became busts. Time will tell. 116 starts is an exaggeration (I mean that's almost 8 years) but I am sure we'll know in the next year or two who's a bust and who's a HOFer

Silver lining to the Giants getting blown out by a 1-7 team? Maybe, maybe, ownership will finally realize they need to clean house and will fire the coach and GM immediately instead of waiting until next year

What I wouldn't give for Jets-Giants to be so futile a game that the final score ends up 3-2 or 5-3

Damn you, . I can't watch anything about West Point without tearing up over these amazing kids who attend the U.S. Military Academy. And to think it's right in our backyard.

I had him for health as well, coach. It might have been his first or second year of teaching, right around the time he came back from (or left for?) his master's degree at Va Tech
