“It broke my heart to think John's first day could easily have ended up with him getting drunk, being homeless & getting into trouble. John feels comfortable in prison. To make a fresh start, people need a stake in society & to feel they have something to lose if they mess up."

“I was able to get John on the right bus & ensure his first day in the community started well. I took a great deal of professional pride on seeing him make that journey knowing he was going to be met in Scarborough by the right people.”

Cycle of Change today & Women's group. Some great input & some fab ideas for positive changes - reduce alcohol intake, improve relationships, eat healthier & get fit. Plans in place for all. 💪😀👋🙂

At for a catch up this morning on probationary work in Hull. Luck enough to be able to peruse the award winning @KoestlerTrust prison art on display while I waited.

Had a day trip to Boston today - to see my co-worker. So great to see women being supported collaboratively with our colleagues. 121 sessions & healthy eating group. Great work ladies 😁
