Trump just said Seoul has "38 million people" in it. That's such an oddly wrong and yet specific number, I did a google search for Seoul.

Why didn't UK take part in EU procurement? No 10: 'We didn't get the email in time'. Michael Gove: "Communication confusion". NEW: Official minutes show UK took part in four EU meetings where bulk buying supplies discussed. The first was 31 January.

“Non-essential” is not a term in the Regulations. Regulation 6 allows us to obtain “basic necessities”, which specifically “includes food”. Types of food are not prescribed or proscribed. Schedule 2 allows “food retailers” to remain open. Again, types of food are not specified.

And that is in the context of manufacturers already having, as they do in the first quarter of every year, produced vast quantities of them. The alternative to selling them to people is to throw them away.

Nice straw-manning. We’re not talking about whether Easter Eggs are essential food. We’re talking about whether people should be criminalised for buying or selling them, along with other good, on legally permitted trips to legally open shops.

Doesn't this count as a technical problem with UK registration / processing, which should lead to an automatic 1 year extension of the deadline for claiming "settled status", in accordance with Article 18(1)(c) of the Withdrawal Agreement?

Indeed. Chuck the already-manufactured choccy eggs in the canal in case someone sees people buying them.
