If you post images on twitter can you take 10 seconds to make them accessible to blind people? Go to settings and privacy, accessibility and enable compose image descriptions. Now when you post a photo you can add alt text.

INBOX: Jefferson City is officially asking for volunteers to help w/ tornado relief efforts. Locals should check in @ the former Sears wing @ the JC mall. All sorts of volunteer help is needed. Those outside of the immediate area wanting to help should call 211.

“I’m a strong believer in Children’s Rights to Read….This should be more than an initiative—this should be a movement. I see that happening at ILA. Children’s Rights to Read should anchor all our work at ILA.”

Currently 103 here just after 4:00. At least the height of the heat for the day has passed. Should continue to cool off as the evening takes hold.

Thank you, for helping the wheelchair swing project reach more eyes! That is key to getting this funded. I have a daughter who uses a wheelchair, myself. So, I know how much play equipment like this means to them.

Thank you VERY MUCH for the RT's There is an urgency to funding this project because the cost quadruples if the match runs out. Plus, EVERY kid deserves to participate in play to the fullest extent possible.

Enjoying my misery, eh? 😅 ☀️It's usually a few degrees warmer here than the official Columbia temperatures. Already sprayed down the roof a couple of times today. Need to do it again.
