My wife died yesterday of COVID. She was 47. No one can prepare for this. My wife is gone, my 2 kids without a mom. There’ll be no dad jokes for a bit. I don’t know any of you in real life except daughter. I wish I did. You all sound like a good group. Take care of each other.

I’m voting for because my most important patient needs real protections for pre-existing conditions. My daughter, who I diagnosed with T1D at home who was “uninsurable” per our health care broker.

Today’s summary reflects data as of Friday, Oct. 16. Unfortunately, there were 2 new deaths reported – 2 individuals from New Castle County who were in their 70s and had underlying health conditions. The deaths increased Delaware’s total to 664.

I agree Lauren, it's a culture that has encouraged self-referrals. Identifying issues (even our own issues) helps us all learn and grow. It's nice to have supportive administrators who also work clinically.

When President Trump was told one thousand Americans were dying every day from COVID-19, he shrugged it off and said, "it is what it is." It is what it is? This president doesn't even pretend to care about the Americans he swore to serve. It's disgraceful.

57k new cases today. And this doesn't even include today's case numbers from Florida (avg 2,400/day). This is the highest number of new cases in over two months! This isn't more testing people. This is more virus. Hospitalizations are on the rise. Deaths will follow.

Only Donald Trump could get Covid-19, survive, and behave in ways that make sure that thousands and thousands more Americans will die needlessly. That’s brand loyalty.
