A friend visited from out of town, and we had a social distance campfire. The background music? 100 yrs Halloween episodes (by her request)! You now have a new listener! 😈💥 As always, thank you for the great shows and years of entertainment and knowledge.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work! I was actually just listening to old episodes. Your show is the absolute best therapy! All the history and tidbits, and great music, is inspiring and appreciated. Congrats!🎉

Although it isn’t 100 years ago history, Flatbush always makes me think of the 1974 cult classic, The Lords of Flatbush. A far cry from Ada Jones & Billy Murray! Thanks for the getaway. This is a great episode for repeat play.

Loved learning more about Deanna Durbin. I am also a Deanna. Discovering her on TCM when I was young was magical! Three Smart Girls.

That was excellently put together. Thank you! Lovely remembrance of “Little Richard” as well. 1919 Rag sounds like a vamped up “After the Ball,” a favorite of mine.

Very excited. Some of my favorites! Will we hear Ginger Rogers singing in pig Latin? 🧐🤣

Thank you for doing this. I’m immune compromised so I’m really sheltering. This is always a joy to tune in to. It always makes me happy. Love Fats Waller novelty tunes! Stay safe!

Can’t speak for everyone, but personally I don’t think there’s too much commentary. As someone who works alone I find it nice! Talk on. 🧐

Have you done any episodes with a theme of “sleep”– Because I sure can’t seem to get any! Thanks again for the continued entertainment and education!

Thank you, looking forward to 15. This podcast is a joy. Wish there were a way to have a permanent hard copy of it. I’d love to know that in the future I can play it for my child. For now I’m glad it’s all archived in this really cool format. This is what the internet is for!
