In fact I'm finding stuff about this using google! It's all fake, I suspect; but it seems to be a *new* fake story bubbling up. I shall look into the supposed sources.

Sure - thanks. Unfortunately I've found the Golden Bough not reliable on the raw facts. I'm going to look into this one tho and blog about it.
