This bipartisan auto no-fault reform plan guarantees lower rates for every Michigander, protects people’s choice, & strengthens consumer protections. It’s simple: when we work together, we solve problems. I look forward to working with the legislature to pass this legislation.

I was thrilled to sign a bill package today to parole medically frail prisoners for treatment. Our administration is committed to making much-needed changes to our criminal justice system, and this is another example of the progress that can happen when we work across the aisle.

Thank you so much to the volunteers at the Capitol for taking the time to plant flowers. The Capitol doesn’t belong to one person, it belongs to all of us, and I’m grateful for those taking the time to beautify it today!

It's critical for lawmakers to understand the real world consequences of these irresponsible anti-choice laws. Any bill that seeks to prevent a Michigander from accessing reproductive healthcare will earn my veto.

This morning I sent a letter to the Administration to express my opposition to their proposed changes to overtime eligibility. The proposed plan would cause approximately 192,000 working Michiganders to lose overtime protections they were previously guaranteed.
