We live along the coast of the largest freshwater system in the world — it's unacceptable that we have harmful chemicals in our drinking water. We're bringing science back to and making sure everyone can trust the water that comes out of the tap.

Thanks to Senator Wirch for setting the record straight on Medicaid expansion. Expanding Medicaid is the right thing to do and it's what the people of this state want. Let's get it done.

Today, I signed AB 10 into law to make sure businesses don’t get an unfair tax advantage for moving their business out of Wisconsin. Thanks to , , , and Senator Bewley for your bipartisan work on this effort!

I just vetoed AB 179, AB 180, AB 182, and AB 183. Everyone should have access to quality, affordable healthcare, and that includes reproductive healthcare. Politicians shouldn’t be in the business of interfering with decisions made between patients and their healthcare providers.

Stopped by the Wisconsin Rapids Dairy Berry breakfast to serve up some curds and talk about how we can better serve Wisconsin’s farmers this June Dairy Month and all year round.

This was an attack on the will of the people, our democracy, and our system of government. The people of Wisconsin deserve better than this.

The state constitution is clear. It limits when the legislature can meet to pass laws. Our framers knew that no good comes from lawmakers rushing laws through at the last minute without public scrutiny. The lame-duck session proves the framers were right.

Today’s decision is disappointing and, unfortunately, all too predictable. It is based on a desired political outcome, not the plain meaning and text of the constitution.

Proud to announce that we’re finally going to start construction on the Highway 15 expansion project. It’s my hope that we continue the bipartisan cooperation behind this project and invest fully in our transportation future.

This fight isn't over. Legislators need to be reminded who they work for, and that if they ignore the will of the people, they do so at their own peril. There's a lot at stake here, folks. Call your legislator today and tell them to support The People's Budget.

. announced that Wisconsin taxpayers will pay $2 billion over the next biennium to support Medicaid expansion in states like New Jersey. We should keep that money in WI and use it to make healthcare more affordable & accessible across our state.

There's still time for Republicans to set politics aside and do the right thing. This isn't the Tony Evers budget or the Republican budget — it's The People's Budget, and it was crafted by and with the people of our state.

If a kid needs an extra lift, they should get an extra lift. We need to make sure our schools have the resources they need to do what's best for our kids. That's why The People's Budget includes an unprecedented $600 million investment in special education.

And after years of neglect, The People's Budget proposed a sustainable solution to our transportation funding crisis so we can fix the dang roads already. And our solution ensures that out-of-state drivers pay their fair share.

Our budget saves money while drawing down more than $1B in new federal funds to help make healthcare affordable and accessible. We're already paying $1B a year for other states like New Jersey to expand their Medicaid program. That's your money, folks. Period.

The people of Wisconsin spoke loud and clear last November. They wanted us to work together to fully fund public education at every level, ensure quality healthcare is affordable and accessible, and fix our crumbling roads and bridges. And that's what The People's Budget does.
