If I was charged with ending the USD's primary reserve status as rapidly as possible, I would have a hard time coming up with a better plan than what the US has done since 2012, & esp in the past 12-18 months.

Pardon me for being naive, why would USA want to do this?

The US wouldn't but the Elite Bankers who run it would and are doing it. The creation of a New World Order requires the end of the dollar as the global reserve currency and the end of US hegemony in the world.

I'm confused here -- Luke contends losing WRC would be good for Main St USA with lowering value of USD so US exports can again compete intl'y while you say elite bankers want to end USD as WRC. May I ask how they benefit from this? thanks!

My opinion is that Americans are prone to not listening (difficult to control) and there is more upside/profit with shifting power to next in line. England -> USA -> PRC

US hegemony in the world is based on the dollar as the global reserve ccy. In order for an unelected New World Order run by the IMF and BIS with a new supranational reserve ccy, , the dollar must fall. This is extremely bad for US people ST due to huge inflation.

Thanks for replying David. I agree with everything you say here and from reading Rickards I understand how the SDR could be a follow up option to the USD (as well as neutral settlement currency). But for elite Wall Street bankers, don't they lose all their power if USD loses WRC?

No, they gain world domination. No loyalty to the US.

If there's a collapse due to USD failing, won't people be tired of another fiat money replacement like SDR? Even China & Russia's elite are seeming to signal they too want a more stable economic system with accumulating gold. Excess fiat over growth only steals from future growth

Cheapen USD creates inflation. US denominated debt gets easier for pay (revenues are in non US currency)
