The new roles for repositories owned by an organization, triage and maintain, fill some gaps that are also great for schoolwork. Triage will be great for TAs, whilst Maintain gives students more control over their assignment repositories with more safety

An enterprise account allows you to manage multiple GitHub organizations. Many teachers use multiple organizations to manage their different classes, semesters, etc. Now they can be created and managed seamlessly from the school's Enterprise Cloud

Internal repositories will help schools make the most of their Enterprise instance. Resources and information relevant to the whole school can be easily shared. I'm not saying this could kill the dreaded school intranet...but 🤔

All of the Enterprise announcements today at are applicable to schools on the GitHub Campus Program . GitHub Campus Program schools get GitHub Enterprise Server and GitHub Enterprise Cloud, free. So what does mean for them?
