I was inspired by post on Zero-Click searches so I decided to check my own queries. I analyzed 20MM unique queries for 16 top authority sites over 12 months. I found the following: 1. Zero-Click queries are about 7.5% of total analyzed queries. (1 of 4)

Yes "Now Google will be the only one seeing the data and will make the decisions for me" = black box of ML/AI happening across all the platforms. Requires trust in the algos which undoubtedly are improving, but it's a major (often uncomfortable, frustrating) shift

Bye-bye accelerated ad delivery (for Search, Shopping). Google says standard has been improved to better optimize to predicted outcomes based on advertiser goals (conversion or click) and contextual signals while accelerated just delivered ads as fast and often as possible.

Well yes but the matching preference will still favor actual word/phrase matching over same meaning. So the aim is to minimize that kind of thing from happening. Won't be perfect though.
