Our planet is breathtaking from space. In the sunlight, an explosion of color in a vast empty sea of darkness. In the starlight, a spellbinding canvas of light and motion. is a fragile oasis of life. I no longer take a single moment or breath for granted.

Yes, it is a bit of a struggle to stand and walk around, when you return from space. When I returned, my neck muscles were really sore...and I realized that in space your head just floats around too! So your neck muscles go β€œon holiday” if you don’t exercise them!

Wildfires are indeed visible from space. With the naked eye you can clearly see the smoke plumes, and we are able to zoom in with camera lenses. πŸ’«πŸš€πŸ
