Oil companies are not arbiters of reality. Of course "power" produces social realities through discourse and violence and the distribution of materials. But *physical* reality will take power down—and the rest of us with it—if we do not change course immediately.

The poorest women subsidize healthcare with $1 trillion of unpaid work — including as community health workers. As a doctor, I’m not expected to go without fair pay for my work, so why aren’t community (and frontline) health workers paid fairly for theirs?
