I always encourage my team to take time off to CTFO (Chill the F out), so when I need it, I just tell everyone I need it and take it. My grandmother used to say “I have a banana in my ear.” 🍌

I need recommendations for a good spot to post up on Friday for 1.5 ish hours in Santa Barbara, reliable WiFi a must! I am driving from Monterey to San Diego and will need to do judging for a pitch competition (virtually) halfway through the drive.

Will do! I have a friend in Santa Monica I was hoping to say hello to and happen to have my trusty beach cruiser in the car.

She was definitely mentally ill and not well. She was attacking a young girl and I intervened and we were both hurt but it could have been worse so I am grateful that did not happen.

This is a time when my heart needs to be open and soft and it was becoming fearful and closed and mean. If the price of love and standing for love and against violence is to be pummeled, it is what it is...But now I need to heal and mend my heart.

I was assaulted while on a run at the downtown PDX waterfront. I just could not stand by and watch a young girl be attacked. Bystanders did nothing. I just cannot stand by and watch my city be destroyed.

Oh my gosh Kacey. I am so glad you’re ok! There must be something in the air, two days ago I was assaulted while on a run downtown PDX waterfront. Same kind of thing but my injuries were not so bad I needed an ambulance. Are you still in the hospital?

The real tea is that even white people are not free in this country. If you can’t stand up against oppression without being beaten or massacred by state violence, then you‘re not free. If the price of your ticket is endorsing or enabling white supremacy, then you’re not free..

I’m working from home, going out on occasion for 1-1 meetings or small group gatherings and choosing small local restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

I am going have to say on saying he built a bank to get black owned biz loans. In Oregon hasn't recorded a single SBA loan to a Black biz since they purchased Albina Community Bank in 2013 (Albina did 30+ in the 5 years prior.)
