Pitch: a movie-review show, but is just a live simulcast of a cat next to a laptop playing Netflix, and the review is scored by how long the cat takes to lay down on the pause key.

Wait, are we applying for jobs based on our animals? Here's my Boycat, applying for social media customer service intern. As you can see, he's already deeply unimpressed by Twitter.

I had to talk down quite a senior Harvard engineering professor who believed it. Maybe you could hire him to do a quick job writing one 👿

A couple of people have suggested "toy" but I think that works better for technical people (because we always assume that we're making a code-thing) but not as well for non-technicals, who might not pick up the metaphorical meaning ("we're making a teddy bear?")

I'm curious about ya'll's opinion on this: what's the least intimidating way to express "code-thing" for an audience that's unlikely to quibble over definitions, but *is* likely to opt out from impostor syndrome) (ie, "lets make a generative [program/app/algorithm]")

The talks are up! You can now watch me talk about the dynamic event-handler design that let us churn out new Desktop Dungeons builds every week for over 2 years! Yes, we built a unique roguelike in a unique way... OFC
