This makes me laugh because I remember when it was awkward when my parentsโ€™ friends sent me Facebook requests. Now itโ€™s the opposite.

Yes! Also my teen son's friends. Which I don't accept because I need boundaries. Even though they're all great people.

My wife and I volunteer at church retreats, and afterwards we get a bunch of these which is pretty awkward

My step-daughter follows me on instagram. I have to constantly check that there's no cussing in my comments. Or rude pictures.

I follow my nieces and nephews on Instagram, but I haven't sent FB friend requests. I was thinking that might be a bridge too far.
