Seven Seas appears to be hiring a new light novel translator. Do you have any advice for those who are applying? — My best advice would be "apply quickly" because they really don't waste any time Xd

6) I usually try to play routes I think I won't enjoy first (unless they seem central). I try to get as many bad ends as I can too. I don't skip anything.

5) I bought 999 the second(?) year it was out. Also bought Ghost Trick for the DS that year as well.

4) Only when someone tells me it's necessary for plot reasons (though I did download on for a game recently just cause I was scared STEAM might remove the DLC; I try not to go off STEAM for any downloads if I can help it).

3) Childhood Friend Moved Away, Returns I like that trope of the friend that moves away and you meet again (maybe a secret organization kidnapped them for their bidding; maybe their father got a job in another town; maybe they secretly plotted revenge for years).

2) Tsugumi (Ever17) Tsugumi shines as a seemingly standoffish + brutal, but later endearing character. Love the twists in her scenario. Later versions of the game cover featured her more prominently, but I never would've predicted she was the main love interest from cover one.

1) 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors Music, atmosphere, plot twists, adult characters, it has what I like. The whole working in of IRL myths into a fictional work I love, and the sequels went even more heavy on using pseudoscience / science, like Schrodinger's Cat and Monty Hall problem
