Make no mistake, most of the education bills heard are simply bills needed to address concerns caused by previously passed bad bills. If we are not thoughtful during bill development, necessary ‘clean up’ is inefficient, ineffective & expensive for schools. Exhausting. 🤦🏼‍♀️

A great video explaining school funding. The small increase we received this year was appreciated but it doesn’t make up for all of the cuts that have happened over the past 10 years.

Electives we currently have will also continue with this and students will no longer have pick a Pathway.

6th Grade Programing will change for the 20-21 program. Next year students will go from 4 teachers for English, Math, Science and Social Studies to having 2 teachers a Math/Science and an English/Social Stufies teacher. One of these teachers will also be their home room teacher.
