This is one of the best trauma videos we have seen. Really beautifully explains causes, symptoms and how recovery and healing takes time.♥️

Not sure why this week has felt particularly hard, but hearing about primary school children from sharing helpful ways to manage emotions & stress through programme gives hope that future generations are learning skills we never did at school. 🙂

When a little one is late to school I always greet them with a huge smile and tell them how happy I am that they have arrived. They can't help being late and we don't know the reasons behind it. I want school to feel safe for them.*

When I saw post this last week, I knew I had to do it with my class! 😍 They were enraged on Wednesday when we read it 🙊 I absolutely loved shocking them yesterday with the big reveal - we all had tingles reading it backwards! Thank you!

Our volunteers and have been training on childhood adversity and trauma, and the power of relationships for years. Scotland is further ahead in this work but there is still a way to go. Glad the message is spreading in England too.

More lovely work. Sharing their river of life stories with younger pupils. Love it. ♥️ We've all been (& still going through) stormy times, so for younger children hearing about older children's ups & downs will be awe inspiring.
