An excellent weekend racing on Scaramouche for the 1st time since the Fastnet. Great attitude by a mostly new crew eager to learn. Now Scaramouche turns to sail training for beginners while the others work on their mini-tonners...& Etchells Nationals is only a few weeks away👍⛵️

Tomorrow a very young crew with some new faves will be setting off for the ASTOrace in Cowes on Saturday. Also very excited about our girls project. They’ll be running 2 voyages before Christmas followed by a tour of the Channel Islands in the summer 👍⛵️

Great weekend of sailing with our junior sailors testing their entry for the Round the Island Race and Cowes week. Also had Azat and Jessye out on the Etchells. Plus a bit of inspiration from on the way to pick up sails 👍

Very pleasing 3rd place in the Bedrock Trophy for the lads. Joint points with second place, one point off the leader and 2 wins in the last 2 races. Good work 👍

As always were moving onto ‘the next thing’ which is the Etchells Trophy this weekend, then the RORC race to Cherbourg, then Silicon Cup and the ASTO race. BUT we must stop to remember the big achievement our crew made this summer in Fastnet:

What a great summer- finishing a gruelling Fastnet with a very young crew (Kai at 13 was youngest in the whole race) and then a cup in the for our young crew and 18 yr old skipper. Joined by throughout👍
