Joe Svehlak gave a great FAM Tour this week called “Downtown Connections”. It gave members insight into preservation losses & successes, as well as the transit system’s amazing complex connections there. The tour also stopped to look at how public art is woven into all of this.

Hello and happy new year! We saw the lower Manhattan precinct has been warning visitors about predatory vendors. Is there any way for similar education for Central Park visitors about the monks or similar hustlers? Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for this. Please consider having a beat officer permanently on patrol there to keep this predatory vendors away long-term. It has the area’s consistent recurring issue. Thank you again.
