grrh, I ended up wondering, here it is explained in plain Spanish: ... it does look though like a slightly forced explanation... sometimes I'm afraid there's no real explanation except they got trapped in a series of logical steps that took us all there.

because zero has no power. so basically nothings happens. what was there, is there, and we decided we represent this as "1". this is probably not mathematically OK, but as I always say "if they are asking this to you, maybe they explained it in class: try to listen next time" 🙂

as always, it depends, they might be based in Switzerland or anywhere and target the EU market or monitor individuals in the EU, then they need to comply, but in some other cases they might not need to comply. let art. 3 be your guide
