That movie was unfairly released and reviewed. Sent to die so Kristen’s image could be protected.

There are some days when I run where it glides and is effortless and I have a smile on my face. Other times I’m sucking air and everything hurts. The good days make me forget about the bad ones.

“Lose the arm” is still the most callous thing in that movie. That screenplay is absolutely pitch perfect and completely clockwork. Every character works, every scene is important, the theme is nailed down tight, it’s very thoughtful, while also providing action film pacing.

It looks like an episode of a TV show and not at all like the rest of the movie.

I think the alt there was shot purposefully terribly so the real ending would be used if any studio exec questioned the choice.

Absolutely. It’s ironic that the people best equipped to have kids are often the ones making decisions not to have them.

I’ve shot two music videos no one has really seen yet. They will likely debut a week between one another. I’m really excited as they are both very different but both directed and written by me.

The original Iron Man has shots of pure iconography. When Stark gets off the table in the cave and it is shot through the crappy video monitor that gives his chest that ethereal glow it is a choice of pure artistry. The obvious choice is fucking boring in comparison.

Well, worth a shot. I’ll perve the set from blocks away.

It wasn’t the style, it was the story. That style is fine but the story didn’t work.

It’s what you can do with what was essentially very little money and mostly natural light.

That’s what motivates me too. If I’m told I can’t do something I double down and do it anyway.

That’s right. I’m just trying to highlight text and reformat it to character names or dialogue and it takes huge blocks of the script beyond what I’m highlighting.

I still feel uncomfortable with reaching out over Twitter. Unsolicited always comes with trepidation. I’ll probably feel better as I become a “known quantity” in directing and writing wherever that threshold is met. On both fronts I’m looking for representation.
