“There’s no bad ideas, just bad timing.” Example no. 2832: People spent the decade after the dot com bubble explaining it was obvious how was a bad idea, many others were doomed to fail, etc etc. But now Chewy is IPO’d at $14B+ with the same idea. Amazing.

Hey , our local police have a program at the regional park's lake (it's Minnesota, every park has a lake or two) teaching kids to fish. It's called "Cops and Bobbers ".

In 1969 about 38 cents of every food dollar went to the farmer. Today the farmer’s share hovers around 8 cents. So over the past 50 years, farmers have lost 30 cents from every food dollar spent by the consumer.
