It's encouraging that NGOs have devoted complementary efforts to expedite delivery of the Big 4 agenda. Through the NGOs Coordination Board, we will continue ironing out pertinent policy and regulatory issues affecting their operations and ensure they comply with Kenya's laws.

We have already deployed security personnel all over the country in readiness for the Census exercise. All security personnel will be in full uniform. It's your right to demand for identification from the personnel who'll come to your home.

It’s high time we become disciplined in the management of our water resources unless we intend to hand over toxic waterways to our future generations. We'll soon zero in on every water polluter, whether an individual or a company, and act decisively to avert an impending crisis.

There is a clear nexus between the recent Mombasa attacks and the movement of drugs in the region. Kenyans no longer want to hear tough talk — they want results, and we will deliver. We've launched a systematic security operation in the area, and I'm certain it will bear fruits.

Some regions haven't cleared backlogs of birth certificates even after the expiry of the Rapid Results Initiative launched by the government in June. We will extend the period by a further 30 days to allow more children to get their certificates during this August holiday.
