Trustee Paz: Proposes amended motion for each Board member to be allowed to appoint a community representative to the Special Committee. Pres. Jackson asked attorney if that can be done.

Pres. Jackson says the creation of a Special Policy Committee will be comprised of the original policy committee and FWISD staff to assist with administration and monitoring equirements. The committee is to bring forward a policy for consideration at the Dec 12 meeting.

Next item is the creation of a Special Board Committee to review and update Policy BBFA (LOCAL) regarding conflicts of interest. Two additional speakers are presenting public comment urging the Board to reinstate the stricter policy.
