Our final memory of the National Spirit Hurdle is William Henry, owned by Dai Walters & trained by - in an exciting finish to the 2020 renewal, this former Coral Cup winner looked beaten 2 flights out, when 10 lengths back, but ran on well to beat two classy rivals!

Number four in this week’s series of National Spirit Hurdle memories is Camping Ground – having his first outing for in the 2017 race, he pulled clear of a decent field before halfway and went further and further ahead to win by 29 lengths under jockey

Next up in this week’s series of National Spirit Hurdle memories is Lil Rockerfeller. Rarely out of the money, whether he's running on the flat, over fences or hurdles for trainer . He was an easy winner in 2016 & returned to finish 2nd & 3rd in later years.

Day 2 of our National Spirit Hurdle memories is Celestial Halo – the best horse to win the race in recent times. Owned by Andy Stewart & trained by , he had high class form at 2m/3m over hurdles & fences. His victory at Fontwell in 2011 was one of his easier races.
