I keep trying to stream but the latency is insanely bad. Tried this fl studio asio driver trick. Still 120ms overall. I get 7ms overall in Ableton normally.

you can do it in multiple layers too if you want some accent and non-accent notes. Works on snares as well, you just have to be more careful with the saturation.

If you want variation in a hat sample, try setting a limited with a ceiling at the top 10% of your velocity range. Now if you vary the velocity within this range you'll get subtle timbre changes without large volume variation. A limiter with pleasing saturation is best.

I don't know what you'd do with this information but if Borderlands 3 was on Steam I'd be playing that right now instead of working.

I'm so indecisive lmao. Every time it shows up with free same day I'm on the verge of impulse buy.

Ableton Live workflow tip: Use group tracks often. Live lets you save (drag and drop) anything as a preset to your User Library, even groups of channels! You don't need to always load up a template, you can just pull in your channel presets.

Free same-day delivery on an sp404sx for another 2 hours... no idea what I'd actually use this for, but maybe some live performances? Start practicing now?

I don't retweet or repost my music often, but I'm really proud of what this track has become. We're coming up on the 6 month "anniversary", so here's the song that started it all:

I do this a lot. I actually did this with a hard drive backup when moving to a new computer. "Oh, I have this?"... holiday sales are a terrible thing!

Guitar is an awesome source for sound design in general. It generates analog input, which works really well for all sorts of applications. The pluck and sustain characteristics make it versatile in all genres too. Get some guitar in your tracks! Especially if you can play.

I feel so blessed whenever I see the concurrent listener count on my Spotify Artist's Home. I know the number isn't accurate, but after a great August this thing is still averaging higher every week. I don't know who you all are, but thank you.
