90s BRITPOP OBSCURITIES You have to have confidence if you’re going to give yourself the same name as a legendary doo-wop band but Flamingoes didn’t seem phased. They knocked out the lively, energetic Plastic Jewels in 1995, along with a handful of enjoyable singles.
