Two things: You can still sign up to receive election-related text messages from me: Also, starting in June, I will be the managing editor of Missoin Local (). Please sent freelance pitches or tips. We're going to cover the hell out of this city.

signed up to receive election coverage texts from a week ago and I already feel the most informed on city politics I’ve been since...I sat in an office with him every day and got these updates in person?

It just cracked me up that they'd buy ad time at the exact time so many SFers would NOT be watching those channels 😂

She opposed stricter regulations on Airbnb before that. It wss widely known it would be vetoed when she attempted to pass it, and took place during an election where her opponent was hammering her for not being tough on tech. She has since not reontroduced it, you'll notice

Let me put it this way: The housing supply conditions here existed for a long time before tech came. Our eviction crisis boomed once tech came. So yes, the housing crisis is a problem, but it was *exacerbated to an extreme degree* by tech's pursuit of wealth, full stop.

The tax money from those high paying jobs don't go to the San Franciscans who were displaced and no longer live here when the tech industry boomed, so i'm not sure that it helps your argument. Also yes, Twitter tax break.

I aporeciate you exploring this with me. The incident was in the Fillmore, not the Bayview. But that headline would otherwise be accurate. And as for inflammatory, if you actually read the article you see what it refers to. We can't control what people do and don't read.
