Fixing things in post is so much more time consuming than just recording it right the first time. Oy. Haha

The only TVs w/ full 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1 right now are 2019 LG OLEDs & 2019 Samsung 8K. Supposedly Series X might do 4K/120 or 8K, so you'd want that. Every other TV w/ VRR caps at 4K/60. And to pass through 4K/120, Receivers will need 48 Gbps HDMI 2.1, too. So best to wait.

I like AVExcel Podcast. Good info. Rarely disagree w/ them. Lord knows I understand how scheduling issues can result in unexpected hiatuses. But, for real, after a 6 month break & now another 2 months w/out an ep, how do they still have 2.5x as many Patreon supporters as us? 🤷‍♂️

Great. Now those of us w/ elderly relatives can spend even more time describing which picture has to be clicked to get to their email. By all means, please make the back button even smaller and more obscure while you’re at it. And be sure to remove ALL text descriptions this time

ICE650 is closer. Not sure why OSD suggests ACE650 when the ICE650 are right there. But ICE650 is currently out of stock until May. So consider the larger 8” ICE850. Still very affordable

To get matrixed Top Middles, the Front Height & Rear Height must have identical distance, level & EQ settings. 1st two are easy. But identical EQ basically means no EQ from the prime Receiver. So use the Audyssey Editor App to set super low EQ frequency limit.

My recommendation would be Denon X2400H or X2500H. I know they aren’t the absolute cheapest, but being the sister models to the Marantz SR5000 Series, they’re a big step up in power supply vs the X1000 Series. And having at least Audyssey XT is nice 🙂

Well I hate the dual tweeter thing. It’s a sure way to problematic interference. BUT, nothing says you have to wire up both! So they should be fine for Atmos. Just wire one side, would be my advice, is all 🙂
