This will enable the students to pursue higher education in Medicine, Management, and Computer Science. The First lady wished them well and appealed for them to be good ambassadors of the Gambia at the University. The students flew to Egypt, yesterday, 14th September 2019.

Her Excellency, yesterday bade farewell to eight Gambian students going to study at Al-Azhar University in Egypt. Through her education project, the students benefitted from full scholarships awarded by the Egyptian government to the Office of the First Lady.
