I agree and think that it’s important to focus on what Local Authorities have responsibility for. Edinburgh Council can’t control the policy on social distancing but they can control their response and planning. That’s the key issue at the moment.

I think it is. Monumental effort needed to get engaged learning, enhanced relationships for and with kids and better support. No school this academic year ok, but still awful for many. Going forward we have to do better.

From what I understand it is a ‘lowest common denominator’ approach without consideration of how we might uplevel schools that will struggle to follow social distancing. No creative thinking about use of other public space.
