The truth is that Nigerians were hoisted upon an irresponsible and unresponsive government. For God's sake, this lockdown decision was not taken in a day. Why were there no palliative measures in place to ameliorate the lives of Nigerians while observing the lockdown?

Enforcing the "stay at home order" is not an opportunity for wanton cruelty by the enforcement agents. In several countries, they flog with cane for defiance. I have seen videos of destruction of properties by enforcement agents in Nigeria. It should not be so.

BREAKING: Governor Okowa has directed that Asaba airport will be closed to traffic effective from Friday, March 27, 2020 by 6pm. Additionally, all land borders into and out of Delta are to be shut effective 6am, Sunday, March 29, 2020.
