Ideally each coops value chain would be coop or social. We signed up to webarchitects but what percentage of UK coop movement does? Who does Coops UK use? If the movement aggregated it's needs and purchasing power could it build out from there an ethical service?

Don't think it is as polarised as this, although acknowledge large increase in vegan ready meals in supermarkets. However grow produce in & source pulses and grains from UK so it's possible to be and eat

Principle 1, voluntary and open membership. People develop their own criteria for choosing whether to join or just use a coop. The point is we can choose to participate.

We're on the journey with our suppliers searching out more ethical goods. We also need them to to tackle the CO2 waste we can't see. We need some product curators and bloggers to join the coop to help.
