So I asked my 9 year old. He said 7 x 3 too, which I thought was interesting given the infinite number of choices and he landed on the same one as your daughter, even without the commutative property. Reasoning: "It is just fun Daddy."

What can math edu leaders do? We search for, erase, and intentionally dismantle systems that place our students of color and their families at risk. Math leaders can ask the tough questions. We can listen to the experiences of our colleagues of color.
