Unfortunately, the School Admissions team has been very busy since schools returned for the new year. They experienced a very large influx of mid-year applications just before and during the summer holidays, which could not be started until the schools were open.

The service level includes the relevant processing and administration at either end (before and after a response) by the School Admissions team, as well as allowing the schools sufficient time to respond.

Hi. The typical service level for primary mid-year applications (assuming that's what you're referring to) has been increased to better manage expectations, as schools were taking longer to reply than the timescales we were previously quoting.
