Every time we walk into the school, we have the opportunity to be a bright spot in a student’s day. There’s a lot that we can’t control and there are days that we may feel inadequate… but we can always be the reason that a kid smiles.

Used coding on to create games and stories. We shared this with our buddies and even received some feedback. "It was fun to play and review my buddy's game" - Shyla

Students designed and coded a game, published a game procedure, creating an advertisement and then looked at how to receive feedback from players. A term well spent with some very proud and engaged students!

Year 2’s are coding games for their solutions. In this hopscotch game ‘Lion Run’, you have to move the lion to the school without getting caught by the cats along the way. But watch out! The cats speed up on each level!

One of my students had their last day at ACPS today. She said she was feeling sad that she couldn’t be in the Student Voice team anymore but would speak to her new school about student voice. Melted my heart! 💜

Walked into a classroom today and a child ran over with his book to show me his learning. He explained the strategies with a huge smile on his face. That smile made my day!

Year 2’s are loving text innovation and writing sequels to their favourite texts using the authors craft and style. Bani decided to end ‘Stuck 2’ with an ellipsis today to create suspense and curiosity for what’s to come!
