We’re ending special interest rip-offs and putting more money back in your pocket with tax cuts for working families. We stood strong with 300 workers in St. Joseph yesterday, and we’re proud to be fighting for working families across Missouri.

We don’t want leaders of terrorist organizations in MO, and Hamed does not deserve the privilege of citizenship. When you support terrorism, commit crimes, and lie about your ties to terror in the process of becoming a citizen—you need to lose your citizenship and be deported.

Hamed went through the naturalization process to become a US citizen and lied under oath about his ties to this terrorist organization and the crimes he committed.

Hamed ran an organization called the Islamic American Relief Agency, based here in Columbia, Missouri. The U.S. government classified it as a terrorist organization when it was discovered that the group funneled over one million dollars to Iraq in violation of federal law.

Mubarak Hamed was the leader of a Missouri-based terrorist organization and is a convicted criminal who lied his way through the immigration process. wants his citizenship revoked—and they're right.

Champ is a fighter. He’s recovered from his wounds, and he’s back on duty. We’re grateful for him and for the men and women of law enforcement.

We need to strengthen Missouri’s laws. These K-9s do incredible work on behalf of our people. They are trained, tough dogs. They help keep Missourians safe. There’s a bill to do that working its way through the legislature now. It’s called “Champ’s Law.” It’s a bill I support.

In Iowa, if you hurt a police animal, you can go to jail for up to five years. If you hurt an FBI dog, you can go to jail for up to 10 years.

Last month, Champ was stabbed in the side of the neck while pursuing a suspect. In Missouri, stabbing a police K-9 carries about the same penalty as not returning a library book. That’s not right.

Today, after some meetings in KC, I stopped by for a workout with some Kansas City police officers. We were joined by guys from the Cass County Sheriff’s office—and Champ. He’s a German Shepherd who has been with the Cass County Sheriff’s office for four years.

Great news: we found another 86 government cars that weren't needed, and we're getting rid of them! $2.2 million of your tax dollars saved. Amazing what can be accomplished with some common sense. It's your money and we're making sure the government doesn't waste a cent of it.

This is the boldest state tax reform in America because it's tax reform for working families--not lobbyists and special interests.

We’re getting the government off people's backs. We're conducting the most aggressive, most ambitious, most detailed effort to roll back unnecessary regulations in the United States.
