I was not healthy, not prepared, not in any way able to care for a child. Now I'm a loving, capable father. I work from home and do most the parenting so that my wife can pursue her career as a kickass rural midwife

The more I read undergrad dissertations--even the weaker ones usually teach me something--the more I am convinced this three-hour exam routine must stop. Rewards mainly clever clogs quick performance which then goes on to afflict journalism, law etc. Real thinking is the key.

So I, like, counted at least, like, 9 replies with more likes by, like, an order of freaking magnitude than the OP. This is like some recursive ratio of ratios stuff right here!

So amazing! I can hardly imagine pulling myself together - in that situation - to experience my thoughts and emotions this clearly, let alone write them out in such a hauntingly beautiful fashion

Sometimes you just have to laugh at how silly-cool life can get here on Earth, apparently this is a "Sea Sheep" or sea slug (Costasiella kuroshimae). How is this real? Credit: PIC BY Ajiex Dharma / CATERS NEWS

Suppose that it’s true that perception is controlled hallucination; if that’s right, we should also follow Culadasa in recognizing that “for your personal reality to be created purposefully, rather than haphazardly, you must understand your mind” 🧘🏼‍♂️🐒🐘
