Wow the person just really took the cake for me. But still it should not, since people do it for legitimate reasons. And I ever need too, I'll just shorten it to my initials.

Depends if you’re doing it out of malice or need. Many women in male-dominated fields (and opposite) do it to be taken more seriously. The horrid author of The Woman in the Window did it to deceive agents and bid wars 🤨. And LGBT people do it to be true to themself

Writers, you will never please everyone. Writers, you will never please everyone. Writers, you will never please everyone. So don't try to. Your readers will find you. Write for them.

It was a book. Or rather some form of entertainment got me into it.

My son is putting this together with his father for . He keeps pronouncing Venus Fly Trap as Penis Fly Trap and it’s just hilarious. I’ve corrected him at least 5x’s.

Posts everywhere about how difficult writing is, but personally feel it’s as innate as breathing. I’m not saying what I produce is better than someone who struggles through it. Who else sees writing as gift, not a chore?

Honestly you don't owe anyone anything. And it's well within your rights to do so.

You don't have to justify how you use Twitter to anyone. You can do whatever you want to make it a better experience for you. Screw them.
