Tobacco use is the single most preventable cause of disease, disability, and death in the United States (CDC, 2017). Tobacco use is a major contributor to death among African Americans, specifically in the areas of heart disease, cancer, and stroke.

Teaching how to conduct an empowerment evaluation at Pacifica Graduate Institute. The students were engaged, engrossed and thoroughly mesmerizing. We grappled with real issues, ranging from access to equity. What a wonderful marathon day from 9 am to 9 pm!
