Did you get assaulted by their Security Guard like they did in Sherbrooke ? Tried to throw out journalists and presidents of Conservation groups who had valid concerns.

There was no protest. There was no one making a disturbance. There was no reason to eject anyone. There was no reason to call the RCMP.

These are crimes and impeachable offenses. How does anyone justify not using every legal tool in their power to stop the regime doing this?

"Not only were people who spoke up strongly opposed to Atlantic Gold’s proposed mine in Cochrane Hill.. and vocal about their fears of what the proposed open pit gold mine would do to the river & their community, the event resulted in the brutal arrest of an innocent citizen."

Even better would be; "RCMP are investigating a mischievous 911 call for non-existent disturbances, and an unwarranted and brutal arrest by one if its officers of an innocent citizenat a public information session hosted by Atlantic Gold in Sherbrooke, NS."

RCMP repeats the lie of Terry Moser, Atlantic Gold's thug-in-chief (security guy who refused to identify himself), who dialled 911 (no less) to say "police assistance was required at a public meeting due to several persons causing a disturbance." There was no disturbance. None.

A shocking scene in Sherbrooke yesterday. If this is how plans to win over the locals they can start packing their bags now. Nova Scotians won't tolerate bullies.

Is this the way the new gold rush will go in Nova Scotia? Atlantic Gold security calls the cops to evict 4 people sitting quietly at a public info meeting the company is hosting. Cop comes & violently arrests . Horrible.

BREAKING: A federal judge just BLOCKED Mississippi's unconstitutional ban on abortion! If the law had been allowed to go into effect, it would have criminalized abortion before many women & trans or non-binary folks even know they're pregnant.

gold mining shaping up to be a mess, with shady dealings. Big risks for and little benefit for the province. Something to keep a close eye on as has. has been covering the issue very well:

I fear because they have behaved so badly around the world for so many years that Canadian gold mining companies have forgotten what it means to respect human rights and the environment, no matter where they are... be it Nova Scotia or anywhere on the planet they find gold.
